Made a detour heading back to Bangkok to visit a one-of-a-kind cafe. The place is basically an aviation-themed tourist attraction with a cafe inside one of the large passenger aircraft on site. For a boarding pass, it costs 100 baht and for that, you get a coffee of your choice from the menu and you’re free to roam the entire property. We had a mint iced chocolate and a passionfruit smoothie. Both were good but nothing special. Doesn’t matter cos the place itself is the main attraction. All over the place are different kinds of military transport, from small planes and helicopters to classic military emergency vehicles as well as bits of aircraft and motorcycles.

Also, there is a large shop selling all manner of military clothes and uniforms plus numerous bits and bobs, mostly retro or antique. Outside there is also a shooting range using military-style BB guns.

Come here if you’ve got at least an hour or two as there’s plenty to see. Make sure you have a camera handy as there are many good photo opportunities. If you’re in the area, this is a “must visit” as it’s totally unique and highly interesting for both adults and children.

100 baht for entry and a coffee of your choice to visit one of the planes. The coffee was good. The cake was ok but overpriced for the quality. There were lots of military vehicles, including boats, jeeps, and helicopters, around the cafe to see.

As a plane enthusiast, I wished it would be more like a museum. All it actually is is a nice place to drink a coffee. They charge you 100 baht to go inside 1 plane. Coffee is included in the price. If you want to go on another plane, you have to pay 100 baht again. All in all, it is worth a visit but imho not worth a big D-tour.
