The temple consists of 3 main buildings; a chapel, a multipurpose hall, and a merit-making hall. This temple was established in 1924 and become the authorized temple in 1975. Now, Bang Saray Kongkharam temple is also a Buddhist study school.

The people around this area called this temple as “Wat Bang Saray Nai” where there is a famous “Luang Por Thong Yu”, a former abbot. Even though he is passed away, the people who respected him still came to show respect to his statue at this temple.

    The oldest temple in Bang Saray at over 120 years, it is rumored pirates buried gold here.
    The temple is huge and well worth a visit as it sits in the center of the village.
